TabTrade Broker Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker

The Broker - What It Is

Tab Trade launched in March 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the leadership has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. Still more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.

The instrument list: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For something that launched in March 2026, that range is broad.

The Software

Available: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from one account. Many only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you know MetaTrader previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the more modern one. Better DOM. Faster charting. cBot support. Plenty of traders prefer it once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for algo traders but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is reportedly coming. That should round things out when it lands.

Accounts and Pricing

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. Meaning your all-in cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not relevant to the average person. Skip it unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

The execution is the thing TabTrade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers run 100ms to 300ms.

Should you care? If you scalp, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, it matters less. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That is what kind of broker this is.

Pair that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.

The FSRA Question

Here is the thing that requires honesty. Tab Trade is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.

But. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. This does not guarantee anything. It should factor into your decision.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that makes sense comes down to your priorities.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You deposit, they credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
